Notice: Update on online giving (March 16, 2021)This past year, we have been using a service called PushPay to provide an online giving page on our website, a text-to-give function, an app with parish content (as well as a giving function), and back-end bookkeeping software.
After assessing how the year went, the Finance Chairmen of all three parishes have advised - and our Business Manager, Bookkeeper, and I agree - that we not continue the service. It is a fantastic service, but it is somewhat expensive and too full-featured for what we need. Our traditional tithing this past year has been very strong, but due to our major school and parish fundraisers being affected by the pandemic, we feel we need to be more financially conservative at this time. Furthermore the C.F.O. of the Archdiocese of Louisville, Mr. Robert Cecil, advised us to tread lightly and only take on the functions we need, because the Archdiocese is currently studying different tithing/accounting/recordkeeping solutions which may be rolled out to all parishes. So we are exploring a different service that gives just the functionality we need right now, like online giving, at a lower cost. It is important that we provide this additional means for people to support each parish. The current PushPay service ends on March 17, 2021. If you are currently using PushPay for one-time or recurring donations, we will contact you directly about this transition. Please go to the current giving page, click on Your Account and Manage Account and Sign In to discontinue any recurring donations. When the new service is active we will promote and explain it to everyone on the parish website, the bulletin, social media, and other venues. Thank you for your patience and support! ~Fr.
